Check out the following acupressure points that you can do at home to help alleviate sinus congestion, sniffling and sneezing. Gently massage these acupuncture points for a minute, two to three times per day for relief from your symptoms.
Du 23: This point is located about an inch into your hairline at the midpoint of your forehead. If you are congested the area may feel tender to the touch.
Yin tang: This point is located between the eyebrows and is also called the “Third Eye”.
UB 2/Bladder 2: This point is located at the inner edge of your eyebrows, close to your nose. It may feel very sensitive to pressure if you are experiencing sinus infection, sinus pressure or headache. It’s great for helping to alleviate sinus headaches.
LI 20: This point is at the lower edge on both sides of your nose. Follow your smile lines up to the corner of your nostrils. The point is very effective for relieving nasal congestion, and promotes drainage of blocked sinuses, bringing much relief.
Massaging these points several times throughout the day, will help to alleviate sinus pressure and pain.
